Do you believe every child deserves hope, guidance, and opportunity? Start a local GUCM Chapter and be part of a global movement that empowers children through mentorship, education, and care — regardless of their background, location, or challenges.
Be the voice of compassion in your city, school, workplace, or village.
A GUCM Chapter is a local unit of the Global United Children Mentorship network, operated by volunteers, educators, community leaders, or youth advocates. Chapters deliver GUCM programs, identify local child-related needs, and mobilize people and resources to protect and uplift vulnerable children.
Each GUCM Chapter is expected to:
Step 1: Expression of Interest
Fill out the Start a Chapter Application Form with basic info about you, your area, and your reason for starting.
Step 2: Online Orientation
Attend a virtual onboarding session with GUCM's Global Chapter Team. Learn about values, policies, and programs.
Step 3: Chapter Approval & Kit
Once approved, receive your GUCM Chapter Toolkit, including branding guidelines, templates, project models, and mentorship curriculum.
Step 4: Local Team Formation
Form a team of 3–7 members, with defined roles (e.g., Coordinator, Finance Lead, Program Lead, Outreach Volunteer).
Step 5: Registration & Community Launch
Chapters may register locally (where required) and organize an inaugural awareness event to introduce GUCM in your area.
Step 6: Monthly Action
Run at least one activity per month — a workshop, campaign, mentorship session, or community drive.
GUCM Chapters are active in over 15 countries, working in slums, schools, refugee camps, rural villages, and urban hubs. Each one is unique — but united in a mission of compassion, equality, and empowerment.

Each GUCM chapter serves under one unified banner, but can choose a focused purpose depending on local strengths, community needs, and volunteer interests. Below are the top six impactful chapter types, each with a clear aim and operational guidelines.

Australia plays a vital role in GUCM’s mission by supporting child mentorship through local chapters, volunteer networks, and diaspora engagement. Australian mentors contribute time, resources, and advocacy, while schools and communities help fundraise and sponsor global programs. This collaboration fosters cultural exchange and strengthens GUCM’s global impact from the Pacific region.
India plays a vital role in GUCM’s global mission by contributing dedicated mentors, vibrant youth leaders, and grassroots innovation. From rural villages to urban schools, Indian chapters pioneer inclusive mentorship models, drive child-centered initiatives, and inspire global outreach—showcasing India’s deep cultural commitment to education, compassion, and community empowerment.
The U.S. contributes to GUCM through mentorship programs, fundraising efforts, and diaspora-led chapters that support children globally. American educators, youth leaders, and donors play a key role in expanding GUCM’s outreach, sponsoring educational resources, and advocating for global child mentorship initiatives across schools, communities, and philanthropic networks.
In Singapore, GUCM collaborates with local educators, volunteers, and diaspora communities to promote mentorship, digital learning, and emotional wellness among underprivileged and migrant children. Through school-based programs and community chapters, GUCM empowers youth with leadership skills and mobilizes local support for regional sponsorship and fundraising initiatives across Asia.
In Japan, GUCM collaborates with educators and youth organizations to promote mentorship, cultural exchange, and emotional well-being among children. Japanese volunteers contribute through digital mentorship, fundraising, and awareness campaigns. Their disciplined approach and commitment to child welfare strengthen GUCM’s global mission of nurturing resilient, confident, and compassionate young leaders.
In the UAE, GUCM collaborates with schools, community groups, and diaspora networks to mentor children from diverse backgrounds. Through education support, youth leadership programs, and sponsorship drives, the UAE chapter plays a vital role in empowering migrant and local children while promoting global unity and inclusive growth across the region.
This document outlines the structure, responsibilities, and operational standards for official GUCM Chapters worldwide. All chapters operate under the authority of Global United Children Mentorship (GUCM) and must adhere to these bylaws to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment with GUCM’s global mission.
All chapters must uphold GUCM’s global mission to empower children through mentorship, education, and community care, regardless of race, religion, gender, or nationality.
Any individual or group may apply to establish a chapter in a school, city, region, or country.
Each chapter must have the following minimum leadership structure:
Optional roles include: youth leaders, legal advisor, school liaison, sponsor relations manager, etc.
GUCM reserves the right to terminate chapter status if:
Termination will be carried out with due notice, written explanation, and opportunity for appeal.
This framework and its bylaws are reviewed annually by GUCM's International Board. Amendments may be made by majority vote, with chapter representatives informed through official notice.
