🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Role of a GUCM Volunteer

"Serve with Purpose. Support with Action. Stand for Children."

A GUCM Volunteer is the heartbeat of our global movement — an active force for good, working to uplift vulnerable children through mentorship, community action, education, and advocacy.

Whether online or on the ground, GUCM volunteers play vital roles: organizing local activities, raising awareness, supporting children, and connecting with donors or sponsors who can make a difference.

🌟 Core Responsibilities of a GUCM Volunteer

  1. 🧡 Support Children’s Well-being

    • Visit or support local children’s programs, shelters, or schools

    • Assist in Safe Space Hubs, kit distribution, or creative learning activities

    • Be a caring listener or mentor figure when needed

  1. 📚 Promote Learning & Empowerment

    • Help children with homework, digital learning, life skills, or communication

    • Volunteer for online mentorship or storytelling sessions

    • Support programs for children with disabilities or trauma

  1. 📢 Spread Awareness

    • Share GUCM’s message through social media, schools, or local events

    • Organize or attend GUCM campaigns (e.g., School Kit Drive, Girls First Mentorship)

    • Mobilize youth groups, clubs, or classrooms

  1. 💰 Fundraising & Sponsor Support (Optional, with Incentive Option)

    • Connect individuals, families, or businesses to sponsor a child or project

    • Promote donation campaigns in your local community or workplace

    • Earn a small, ethical commission for helping secure sustainable sponsorships
      (see below)

Ethical Guidelines (For All Commission Models)

  • 💼 Full transparency with donors (commission disclosed where applicable)

  • 📜 Volunteer agreement with GUCM team

  • ✅ Background screening for fund-sensitive roles

  • 🌐 Clear tracking via referral codes or forms

  • 🤝 No commission on welfare disbursements to children

💼 Volunteer-Led Sponsorship Contributions (With Commission Option)

Some volunteers may wish to contribute by finding donors or sponsors for GUCM projects. GUCM offers an optional commission-based structure to reward volunteer efforts and encourage sustained involvement — especially in regions where volunteers face personal financial hardship.

✅ Sample Commission Framework (Transparent & Approved by GUCM HQ)

Contribution Type               Sponsorship Amount      Volunteer Commission

 Sponsor a Child (annual)                $300                                 $30

 Sponsor 5 Children                        $1,500                             $150

 Sponsor a Learning Hub               $5,000                             $500

Raise Monthly Recurring Donors      Variable 10% of ALL month’s donation

Sponsor a Child (annual)

🛡️ All contributions must be logged, verified, and processed through GUCM Global Finance.
Volunteers may also choose to waive their commission and donate it back to the cause.

📜 Conditions & Code of Conduct for Volunteers

  1. Volunteers must complete basic onboarding and adhere to GUCM’s values (non-religious, non-political, child-safe).

  2. Sponsorship or fundraising efforts must follow ethical and truthful communication.

  3. All funds or items raised must go directly to GUCM-approved programs only.

  4. Commissions (if opted) are paid only upon confirmed receipt of the donation.

  5. Volunteers should maintain transparency, accountability, and dignity in all dealings.

🔍 How Volunteers Can Find Sponsors & Support

  • Share GUCM’s stories on WhatsApp, Instagram, or community noticeboards

  • Organize small awareness events in schools, clubs, places of work

  • Partner with local businesses to sponsor a campaign or a group of children
